Through testing, Cathedral Stone Products is able to prevent masonry failures and the accelerated deterioration of a building’s original masonry. By identifying the physical properties of the masonry material, Cathedral Stone Products can determine if a customer’s restoration project will require a custom mix, or if a standard mix will do. Other testing includes: bending tensile, expansion/contraction, permeability, e-modulus, and compression. Cathedral Stone Products is the only mortar manufacturer doing testing and custom manufacturing of this nature.
